- Explore the rock pools and walk the coastal track around Paterson Inlet.
- Scenic walk to Ackers Point, Half Moon Bay, visit a original old settlers cottage.
- Take a bush and beach walk to Port William.
- Fish for Stewart Island "Blue Cod", while surrounded by the large Mollymawk seabirds.
- Visit an old whalers repair base which was used by Norwegian Antarctic Whalers.
- Visit Ulva Island bird sanctuary in a 3 hour guided tour with a local guide

knowledge and be surrounded by spectacular scenery to inspire your

tutorials given by Ian Thompson as he guides you through the art of
landscape painting.
You will be joined on the cruise by well-known Hawkes Bay artist, Ian
Thompson. Ian has had many years’ experience inspiring, teaching and
guiding artists in mastering three different mediums, pastels, water
colours and oils. Ian also organizes the annual art exhibition in the
Hawkes Bay. This show attracts many visitors to the region over the 3
day event and has become a significant event in the Hawkes Bay artistic
calendar.

You will be joined aboard Affinity by renowned Marlborough
photographer Gavin Newell, where he will share with you his passion for
photography. Learn how to use your own camera to get those ‘picture
perfect’ photos you have always wanted.
If you love to take
photos but don’t have all the fancy and expensive gear, then this is the
cruise for you. Gavin will explain how to use your ‘run of the mill’
camera and all those camera settings that you used to think were just
there for show and have always been a mystery. Learn how to take great
photos while cruising in one of the most majestic and remote areas on
earth. In the evenings, Gavin will talk you through how to enhance your
photos with the aid of a computer.
