Early morning transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson airport for our flight to Amboseli. We will be met on arrival and transferred to Porini Amboseli Camp for check in and lunch. Game drives in our open sided 4x4 safari vehicle in Amboseli National Park and Selenkay Conservancy, walks with Maasai tribesmen, and a visit to a traditional Maasai village and school fill these three days.
Maasai warriors escort guests on a walk in the conservancy where they can learn about how the various indigenous animals and plants are used by the community and how their way of life is intertwined with their surroundings. Guests are taken to a local Maasai village where they can experience a little of traditional Maasai village life, and we will also visit a local school - always a highlight for our guests. Sundowners with perhaps a view of Mt Kilimanjaro and night game drives are all part of the experience at Porini Amboseli.

Early breakfast and then drive through the Conservancy to the airstrip for your flights to Nanyuki. We will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Laikipia Wilderness Camp, in the foothills of Mount Kenya.
While here we will have the rare opportunity to track endangered wild dogs (also known as painted dogs) by vehicle or on foot. The area is also fantastic for big numbers of elephants, giraffe, hippo, Grevy’s zebra, leopard, wild dog, lion, striped and spotted hyena, aardwolf, aardvark, and over 280 species of birds.

After breakfast, check out and transfer by road to our next accommodation, Sunbird Lodge, which is a 20 minute drive from Lake Nakuru National Park. As the flamingos migrate between the Rift Valley lakes we will also have a day excursion to Lake Bogoria, which has become their preferred feeding ground in recent years.
