DAY 1 – ARRIVAL DAY SAIGON

Meet at your Saigon hotel promptly for a pre-trip group gathering at 18:00.

Your guide will gladly accompany you to a nearby restaurant to experience the flavours of Vietnamese cuisine and raise a toast to the beginning of an unforgettable adventure.

DAY 2 – SAIGON CITY TOUR

Explore Saigon’s historic landmarks on a walking tour, including French colonial buildings. Enjoy coffee with your guide before lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum, Chinatown’s Thien Hau Temple, and FITO, Vietnam’s first traditional medicine museum.

DAY 3 – SAIGON to MUI NE

After breakfast, transfer to Phan Thiet for a half-day coastal ride along a flat route with desert-like scenery and coastal views. Spend the night at a beach resort in Mui Ne.

Cycling distance: Approx 45km.
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

DAY 4 – MUI NE to PHAN THIET to BAO LOC to DALAT

Drive out of town, cycle to Bao Loc via highway 28 for stunning views of rice fields, ethnic villages, and natural landscapes. Stop at key points like Da Mi Lake and banana plantations before ending the ride in Di Linh. Transfer to Dalat, a unique city nestled at 1,475 meters above sea level, renowned for its lakes, waterfalls, and verdant forests.

Difficulty: Moderate

DAY 5 – DALAT to LAK LAKE to BUON ME THUOT

Departing Dalat, spend a full day cycling through the region’s picturesque hills. Enjoy a downhill start to Tanung, then continue on flat roads and rolling hills to Thanh Binh. Encounter challenging passes on the larger roads toward Lak Lake, where you can rest and admire the view before transferring to Buon Me Thuot by support van.

Difficulty: Moderate/Challenging

DAY 6 – BUON ME THUOT to NHA TRANG

After breakfast, travel along Road 26 to Nha Trang, passing through undulating hills with picturesque views of coffee plantations, the Earkrong Buk River, and mountains. Enjoy lunch at Ea Knop before descending to the coast. A shuttle will then take you the last 30 km along Highway 1, offering scenic views of turquoise waters and fishing boats, before reaching Nha Trang for the night.

DAY 7 – NGA TRANG

Embark on a half-day cycling tour through the countryside on a 30 km loop. Drive briefly before cycling through villages on quiet roads, stopping at points of interest. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure on the beaches of Nha Trang, where you’ll spend the night again.

Difficulty: Moderate.

DAY 8 – NHA TRANG to TUY HOA to QUY NHON

Today’s easy ride takes you to Doc Let, a coastal resort, where you can relax on the beach before heading to Dai Lanh Beach. Enjoy scenic views of rice fields, shrimp farms, and coconut palms along the coastal road to Tuy Hoa, where you’ll catch the air-conditioned bus to Qui Nhon.

DAY 9 – QUY NHON to QUANG NGAI

After breakfast, cycle through picturesque back roads to Quang Ngai, passing the charming fishing town of Sa Huynh and the site of the My Lai massacre. Enjoy a guided museum tour before cycling along quiet roads to your hotel for the night.

DAY 10 – QUANG NGAI to HOI AN and HOI AN WALKING NIGHT FOOD SAFARI

After breakfast, transfer to Tam Ky city, then embark on a coastal cycling journey to Hoi An. In the evening, explore Hoi An’s bustling night scene with a guided food tour, sampling local specialties like “white rose” and banh mi. Conclude the evening by releasing floating lanterns at the riverside for good luck before returning to your hotel.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Walking Tour: Approx 4 hours and 5 kms.

DAY 11 – HOI AN COUNTRYSIDE

After breakfast, hop on your bike and explore along the Thu Bon River, capturing photos of fishing boats and charming houses. Pedal through Thuan Tinh Ecological village to see gardens and local life. Enjoy the serene trails, passing coconut trees and rice paddies to reach Cua Dai Beach. Visit Cam Thanh village for ocean views and kumquat gardens. On your way back to Hoi An, lend a hand at Tra Que village before lunch. Return for an afternoon walking tour to discover Hoi An’s vibrant trading port history.

DAY 12 – HOI AN to HUE

Today, travel north to Hue from Danang. Start with a flat beachside cycle before reaching the Hai Van Pass for stunning views. Lunch at Lang Co Beach before continuing along the coastal road to Thuan An. Transfer to our hotel in Hue for the night.

DAY 13 – HUE CITY TOUR - OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI

At 7:30 AM, start a cycling tour of Hue, visiting the Imperial Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda. Cross the river to explore Tu Duc Tomb before lunch. In the afternoon, catch a train to Hanoi from Hue Station (SE4, Livitrans shared cabin 4 berths, departing at 15:31 and arriving at 04:50). Spend the night on the train.

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

DAY 14 – HANOI ARRIVAL - HALF DAY CITY TOUR

Upon arrival at Hanoi station early in the morning (4:50 AM), our guide will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and breakfast before a half-day city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh’s House. Explore the Temple of Literature and stroll through the Old Quarter. Conclude the day with a water puppet theatre show. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 15 – HANOI to HALONG BAY

Depart for Halong Bay via the expressway with a quick refreshment stop. Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf, take photos, and board the Glory Legend. Enjoy lunch on deck as you cruise, followed by a cooking class and Happy Hour. Conclude with a deluxe dinner and leisure time.

DAY 16 – HALONG BAY to HANOI (OVERLAND) - STREET EATS AFTER DARK

Enjoy an early morning sunrise on the upper deck with tea or coffee, followed by a Tai Chi class. Visit Sung Sot grotto and savor brunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Return to Hanoi with a light snack and optional stops. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

In the evening, join a guided street food tour of the Old Quarter. Taste local coffee, snacks, Pho Ga, and Banh Mi Pate. Explore Dong Xuan night market and unwind with a cold glass of Bia Hoi at Beer Corner.
