An amazing trip. Seeing the country by push bike gives you a real insight into the scenery and culture of the country. Not only do you see areas that you couldn’t see by any other mode of transport, you get to smell the smells, hear the noises and meet the locals.
This trip was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The food, biking and people were amazing . Thanks SET for such an authentic way to see Asia. We are sure you will have plenty of other cyclists joining you in the future.
Great cycling trip with a good mix of sightseeing and cycling. Pedalling through villages was great and the people were friendly and welcoming. Each day something new to see and enjoy.
As we enjoyed the Tour so much, we can say that SET organised the Tour very professionally as the itinerary went off without any problems. We followed the Tour as described and therefore we achieved in fact exceeded our travel expectations. We went on this Tour mainly for the Biking and were impressed with the Bikes provided and the areas that we covered – well done! All the local guides were outgoing, friendly and helpful to all members of the Tour Group. Their enthusiasm and manner never changed once during the tour – we could not have asked for better guides.
What a wonderful tour we had. I have nothing but praise. The guides were helpful and interesting, the places they took us were outstanding, the accommodation was amazing, wonderful food and any minor queries were dealt with promptly. SE Asia is a great place for cycling especially as we were able to avoid riding in the busy places and were frequently able to interact with the locals. Changing the guides in each country meant we had a very different experience in each country. The itinerary was only a rough guide as they responded to conditions on the day and also had their own favourite routes. I will never forget riding through hidden paths in the jungle around Ankor Wat and coming across a remote temple with no other tourists around. We then rode several kilometres on top of the outer walls of the complex with the moat below us. Again, very few people on this route. This day has to be the highlight of our trip.
