Costa Rica, Cuba, Galapagos and Ecuadorian Amazon Lodge: “We had planned the trip around wildlife viewing plus a Cuban experience. The wildlife in Costa Rica, particularly birds, was outstanding. Cuba lived up to expectations with great music, awesome cars and fascinating history. As Darwin enthusiasts Galápagos Islands was all we expected and still managed to surprise on a daily basis. Four nights in the Amazon at Napo Lodge was a great finale to an outstanding holiday.”

“Absolutely speechless” We just got back to Queenstown this afternoon, we are absolutely speechless! What an amazing holiday! The trip went off with out one single hitch – it was like a well-oiled machine. The guide was amazing (Pepo), actually that is an understatement, that guy needs a massive pat on the back. I could carry on writing for pages but you get the drift. Once again thanks for an amazing life-changing trip

My husband and I joined SET Tours for back to back Patagonia and Galapagos trips. Both were very efficiently organised and gave us experiences of a lifetime. The accommodation was usually in small family run/owned hotels/guest houses, which were welcoming and very comfortable. The refugios in Patagonia were also excellent, providing delicious food and better accommodation than we had perhaps expected. Our guides were very professional and well informed. The scenery and hiking were incredible and thoroughly enjoyable. In the Galapagos, we were land based and travelled between islands by boat. Our guide, Zambo, was outstanding. Again, we saw everything we expected to see and more. Swimming with hammerhead sharks had to be the highlight. Go soon for the trip of a lifetime. I would have no hesitation in recommending both trips and would give them 5 star ratings.

This trip so exceeded our expectations. We knew it would be special but this was the trip of a lifetime mainly due to the superb organisation and enthusiasm from our local guide Pablo. We are so pleased we chose a land based tour and got to enjoy the local culture and facilities .
